Founded by the local nobility in 1573 for military purposes, the Real Maestranza de Ronda maintains a horse-riding school and is the builder of an impressive bullring, in the centre of the romantic town of Ronda. In modern times, the principal activities are devoted to the conservation of its unique historical and artistic heritage as well as the promotion of education and leadership for young people.
For the Real Maestranza de Ronda, the RondaForum on Education & Entrepreneurship represents another opportunity to promote intelligent debates and to connect its beautiful home city with the rest of the world, bringing global into local.
+ RMRFutureLab Europe is a programme for bright, ambitious young European professionals, aged 20 to 30 who want to play an active part in shaping the future direction of Europe. Every year we select up to 30 active young citizens from across Europe (both EU and non-EU) to take part in a week-long seminar in Brussels; followed by a series of national initiatives and events.
What makes FutureLab different from similar initiatives is that our participants come from a variety of professional backgrounds in the public, private and tertiary sectors; almost none of them work directly on EU issues on a daily basis.
A key part of the programme is a debate series called 'Europe@debates'. These take place throughout Europe, most recently, for instance, FutureLab participants discussed with Joaquín Almunia, in Brussels.
+ FLEThe European Policy Centre (EPC) is an independent, not-for-profit think tank, committed to making European integration work. The EPC works at the "cutting edge" of European and global policy-making providing its members and the wider public with rapid, high-quality information and analysis on the EU and global policy agenda.
It aims to promote a balanced dialogue between the different constituencies of its membership, spanning all aspects of economic and social life.

To achieve these goals Aspen Institute España makes use of two major types of activities, seminars and conferences based on leadership and public policies.
